High wind temperature is an important technical feature of modern aging houses. Increasing air temperature is the main technical measure to increase coal injection, reduce coke ratio and reduce production cost. In recent years, the hot blast temperature of blast furnaces in domestic iron and steel enterprises has been increasing year by year. In 2007, the hot blast temperature of key enterprises increased by 25 C compared with the previous year. Especially, the hot air temperature of newly constructed large blast furnaces (more than 2000 cubic meters) is over 1200 C, reaching the international advanced level. For example, after 2002, the hot blast temperature of Shougang's technical renovation or new blast furnace has reached the target of higher than 1200 C.
Aging room is a heating and blast equipment for blast furnace, and it is an indispensable and important part of modern blast furnace. The improvement of air temperature can be achieved by increasing the calorific value of gas, optimizing the structure of aging room and air supply pipeline, preheating gas and combustion-supporting air, and improving the operation of aging room. Theoretical research and production practice show that optimizing the structure of aging room, improving the thermal efficiency of aging room and prolonging the life of aging room are effective ways to improve wind temperature.
